Loving and Wanting...

Everyday my lunch break usually consists of me catching up on all my daily blog reads and then "window" shopping online. I love when all the Fall Fashion starts coming out. Dressing for Fall is hands down my favorite time to restock my closet. (I can guarantee that when Scott reads this he will be shaking his head... I love you). Here are some things that are a must this Fall for me:

**Both from Gap**

**From Old Navy**

I would take any of these:

And you can never have too many of these (All from Forever 21):

And I will need these to go with all those adorable t's (From Forever 21):

Of course I had to check out the latest update at Red Velvet Art... I am in love with:

Man... I need to win the lottery!! What are some things you are loving right now?? Any Fall trends that you can't wait to wear??

Heading to the very HOT state of Texas!!

Before we headed off on our journey towards Texas we meet everyone for brunch and a little shopping around downtown Eureka Springs. Our meal at Local Flavor was to die for!!! Just look at how excited my brother was to finally get his eggs benedict!!

Shopping in Eureka is definatly a unique experience. There are so many great art galleries and boutiques to go through! Here are the highlights from our shopping excursion:

I had been seeing signs for Dinosaur World through out the town so on our way out of town we decided to check it out!!! We drove and drove only to find this:

Even though it was closed we still got some laughs. I am not sure what I thought I would find though.

On our first night we tried to save money and decided to check out the "new" rooms at Motel 6. I was a little worried so imagine my reaction when I opened the door to this:

I was very impressed!!

We had such a fun time on day one of our road trip. We had made several mixed "roadtrip" cds to listen to and I read to Scott while he drove. That is probably one of my favorite things to do with Scott...roadtrips!! We honestly never run out of things to talk about.

Happy Wednesday!!! We are almost to the weekend. I can't wait!! I did some birthday shopping tonight for Scott and tried to adapt a cookie recipe and make it gluten free. Lets just say I lost a LOT of my expensive gluten free flour. Oh well...you only learn from your mistakes...and the dough tasted good. That is all that matters.

Our Wedding Day!

Even though the day seemed to just fly by it will always be the most magical day ever! Scott and I had said from the begining that we wanted to have a "destination wedding". We were unable to head to the ocean so we went to another special place: Eureka Springs, AR. If you have never been there it is a must. The town is tucked into the Ozark Mountains and filled with the most amazing artistic community. This made it the perfect location for us to celebrate our love! We ended up getting married inside a horse barn and I was a little worried how it would all look but my mom and friends really made it special. I didn't even see how it looked until I walked in to go down the aisle and I immediatly started crying! Scott's dad performed the ceremony and that meant the world to us. It was small and quirky and shared with our family and closest friends. We walked back down the aisle to Let My Love Open the Door by Pete Townshend. The perfect touch!! I can't believe that I have married my best friend. Scott makes me feel so safe and secure. There is never a day that goes by that he doesn't make me laugh. I feel so lucky to be able to have honestly found my soul mate!! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our big day!

This past Saturday we had our reception at my mother in laws home. It was such great day. This week is going to be all about getting back into the swing of things. I spent tonight finally going through the rest of our mail and unpacking. I also had lots of wedding gifts to put away! I can't believe all the goodies that we got. We feel so loved! This week will be hectic though... Scott is in Waiting for Godot and it is running Thursday through Sunday. If you are in the KC Area the show is being performed at the Metropolitain Theatre and starts at 7:30pm each night. Tickets are only $10.00. I promise you will be entertained. Sunday is Scott's birthday too. I have got to start working on his presents!! Hope everyone had a great Monday!

The day before Two Poots Wedding...

We headed out very early last Friday so that we could make a couple stops in Springfield, MO before heading on to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I of course had been counting down the days until I could shop here:

I think that I could of stayed there all day. It really is that cute!! I wish I could of bought one of everything but I was good and only purchased a cd by Jeremy Larson, a pink doe ring, Elsie paperdoll, and these amazing red glasses!! They ended up being the hit of the whole weekend.

We also had to stop at the Osceola Cheese Factory for a quick snack. This place is cheese paradise. You name the cheese they have it and some that you could never dream of. My favorite is smoked white cheddar with blueberries. Sounds weird but trust me it is GOOD!! After eating all of these samples:

You end up leaving looking like this mouse!!

Our final stop was too Oovda Winery. What a cute place with very good wine. We decided to split a bottle between us. The wine owner ended up hanging out with us ad teaching us a new yard game. It was guys against girls and the girls kicked there butts!!

Once we arrived in Eureka we checked into our cabins and headed to the wedding site. Now...we had never seen the actual location. It was located on the property that Scott's dad was staying. Lets just say that it was described a LOT differently. We were going to get married outside in a pavilion overlookig beautiful property...but really that didn't exist. We ended up moving it into the horse barn area and I just prayed for the best. It was so hot there that weekend that it ended up being a blessing. With the help of my amazing mother, my dear friend Lisa, and all the boys it turned out perfect!!

I am leaving you with a few photos after the rehearsal:

I am so blessed to have the most amazing family and friends!!

We are home (and married!!)...

It always feel so good to get home after a vacation. We had such a great time and will have some great stories to tell over the years. I spent this afternoon catching up on emails, unpacking, and going through mail. I was suprised to have a package waiting for me from my dear friend Leslie!! She made me a vintage looking apron and it was in thee cutest heart box that she decorated too!! I will take pictures of it tomorrow to show everyone. I already have it hanging with my apron collection in our kitchen.

Tomorrow I will start my posts of our wedding and honeymoon through Texas. I could look at our pictures over and over again. I did however forget to post some of our engagement photos that our dear friend Jenny took for us!! So here are a few of my favorites!! Let me just say I am so happy and proud to be Mrs. Cox!!

I totally forgot to take pictures of all the gifts I made the girls in our wedding!! With all the wedding craziness it just slipped my mind. I am going to have to sweet talk a couple of them to send me pictures of them. Everyone really loved them. Well I hope everyone is well. I feel so out of touch with the blogging world. It is going to take me a few days to just read all the posts I have missed from my favorite bloggers.
