A night with Mr. Radin

Saturday night I saw Joshua Radin for the 5th time! Yep... that could be considered stalking! Ha! As always he didn't disappoint...



It was a great night out with the girls! If Joshua Radin is ever touring in your area, I highly recomment it!

Happy Birthday Mom!!

Yesterday was my momma's birthday! We celebrated this weekend with a yummy homecooked meal by Poot and cupcakes!!

She recently redecorated her kitchen with a red and white polka dot theme. I found polka dot cupcake liners and straws(I had plans to make chocolate milkshakes, but we were too full...so we are gonna make them for craft night this week!)

Tuesday Tunes *Mumford & Sons*

Lately I have been listening to Mumford & Sons pretty much non-stop!!! They are the pefect soundtrack for Sunday afternoon drives! These boys are such talented musicians. They were also up for Best New Artists at the Grammy's this year too!

I can't wait to get their album on vinyl. It will definitely be the next record I purchase! And I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will come through Kansas City when they tour!

Our weekend through my Iphone...

It seems anymore the only camera I use is my Iphone. Is anyone else like this?
Our weekend was pretty low key but fun. I had today off which was nice. One extra day to get all the house work done I didn't do over the weekend.

Here is a glimpse into our weekend:
*bought yarn for another giant granny afghan.



*Made some gluten free oatmeal cookies! Yummmy!!



*Wore some "gold" bling.



*Played some yahtzee and scrabble! I actually got two yahtzee's in one game! That never happens!!



*Snuggled with Ms. Baba and read alot!


*Got my new glasses from Warby Parker and I am pretty much in love with them!

Well...I am off to do some crocheting. This week is going to be jammed packed but I am so looking forward to it. I am going to two concerts this week!! Woo hoo... I have a date with my dad on Thursday to see Ben Rector and then Saturday I get to see my all time fave Joshua Radin.

Missouri Winery Weekend

Last weekend we headed to Hermann, Missouri to visit all the wineries in that area with our friends Jessica and Justin! It was definitely a weekend to remember full of laughter, wine, sleeping in, catching up,smelly water,karaoke, beautiful weather,and yummy food!




Of course we can't go on any trip without taking silly photos...









Visiting Missouri Wineries is one of Two Poots favorite past times. We are spoiled to have such amazing wineries so close to home! As of 2011 there were over 90 Missouri wineries and I believe we have been to almost 60!I guess we are kind of wine snobs, because we really only drink Missouri wines, or maybe that means we are hillbillies?? Ha!

The Birthday that keeps on giving....

I got some pretty amazing gifts for my birthday this year and thought I would share...




**My very own Mucho Bueno key necklace. Becky spoiled me with a custom key with my name on it!!! I call it my "gangsta chain" and I love it so much!

*Love Shack rug...I am thinking about hanging it up instead of using it as a rug. What do you think? Suggestions? Thoughts?

Double Rainbow All The Way...

I finished my Double Rainbow All The Way Afghan for my friend Jessica!
She loved it and I have to admit...I had a hard time parting with it. I used Hobby Lobby's I Love this Yarn! The center was done with their verigated Jazz Stripes and than I outlined it with a bright green and turquoise. I love naming my afghans and thankfully Jessica understood my humor behind this one!

What projects have you been working on lately? The past few days I have actually put down theh crochet hook (gasp!!) and have been organizing old paperwork. Blah... I am ready to get back to crocheting. Ha!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

So true... All you need is LOVE!! This was the craft I made for my Valentine Swap partner Erin. She made me the cutest owl earings and necklace. I will post a picture of them tomorrow.

This past weekend we celebrated Valentine's Day with our friends Jessica and Justin in Hermann, MO, visiting wineries. We had a blast!!

Today....


*I treated myself to some cinnamon bears!


*I wore some fancy pink heart tights!


*Poot suprised with some pretty flowers!


*Enjoyed some tasty chocolates!!

That's how we roll...

Last weekend we did a little roller skating with some friends! We had a blast. I really think I need to go more often. Such a great workout!




We had to take a few breaks...we are getting old...and refreshed with an icee!



I think I might just have to look for my own pair of vintage skates and make some pom poms for them!
