I have been crocheting like a mad woman lately and loving it! I am trying to bust through my Christmas list so that I might for once be done early! It probably won't happen, but it is a nice goal!

My hands have been busy!!








My mom has been busy too! She finished her afghan for her bed and I am in LOVE!!!

Our Turkey Day!

We had such an amazing Thanksgiving this year! We were able to see almost our entire family and ate some tasty grub too! Here are some pictures from our weekend...

Dressing for Fall

My fall clothing essentials:

1. Scarves...you can never have too many.
2. Dresses and skirts
3. Tights
4. Boots
5. Flannels
6. Not technically clothing, but red lipstick!!

Last week I tried to wear a dress every day to work! It was fun way to reach for something new instead of always going to my tried and true! Here is a look at what I wore...






On Saturday we went to a family lunch and my brother, dad, and I pretty much wore the same shirt!!

I'm a cheap date...

Last weekend we were looking for something fun but cheap to do! We found a giftcard to AMC theatres and JcPenneys and decided that it was time to use those bad boys! To fuel ourselves up for our cheap night ahead we headed to Wendy's! (I think I could live off of their fries...but probably not for very long!)



After some clothes shopping for Poot we headed to the theatre to see Puss in Boots:3D

Such a cute movie!

Broomstick Lace Stitch

Last week I found one of the prettiest crochet stiches on Pinterest. I decided to try and teach myself by watching this video...


Here is how it turned out:

I started out crocheting onto a small knitting needle and did nto like the look of the stitch. I think the hardest part is trying to figure out how to hold the knitting needle while crocheting.


The pattern calls for a bigger knitting needle but this was as big as I had. I still think the stitch turned out pretty, but want to try it with a bigger needle next time.

I ended up making a bracelet for Kerry's birthday!


Not gonna lie, I wanted to keep it for myself! Maybe she will let me borrow it sometime!

Evil Dead: The Musical

Halloween night we spent it in the blood zone of Evil Dead: The Musical. It was an amazing show and hand downs one of the best ways to celebrate Halloween!



I ended up with the most blood on me!! Just a little splash! Ha!



The songs are so funny in this show! I think I need the soundtrack! If you ever have a chance to see this on stage...Go!!! You won't be disappointed!
