I found this book on Goodreads(of course) and there has been alot of negative talk going on about the author. I thought I would put those reviews aside and just read the book. So far I am really enjoying it. I believe there is even talk that a show on the CW is in the works! Isn't the cover beautiful?? I would wear that dress in a hearbeat..just saying!

I love reading! Part 1...

I have been reading a lot lately and thought I would post the books I have read here. This year I set a goal to read 24 books and I think I will surpass it for sure. I have already read 14 so far!! I love using Goodreads to find books and keep track of what I have read. If you are a Goodreads user, look me up! My username is Amber Cox!

Here are a few of the books I have read this year...


I have been on a vampire kick lately thanks to The Vampire Diaries. I thought I would try a new series, however, I don't think this one is for me. I just couldn't get into the characters.


I found this book on Goodreads and immediatly requested it from my local library. This book was so good! I had never heard of Henrietta Lacks and found her story heartbreaking. I highly recommend this book!!


Sometimes you just need a good romance. Nicholas Sparks is my go to author for that. Plus his books are quick reads! This book didn't disappoint! Of course it is not The Notebook, but it was a good read!!


This was another book I found on Goodreads. I really had high hopes for this book because the description sounded so interesting. I didn't hate it, but didn't keep me wanting to pick it up at night. I had to force myself to finish it!

January Book Review

I have been on a reading kick lately and thought I would share with you each month what books I have read for that month.


**I was so sad for this triology to end!! I thought all three books were equally as good and I can't wait to see them in the theatre!!!


**A very quick read but beautifully written. It left me wanting more.I was so excited to see that she wrote a sequel!


**The sequel to If I Stay but told through the eyes of Mia's boyfriend, Adam. This book was even better than the first one! I read it in two days! I highly recommend!


**Okay so I actually fell in love with the cover of this book, which made me decide to give it a try. Shameful I know! It didn't get too many good reviews on Goodreads, but I didn't find it that bad. If you like the youth paranormal books, I think you would enjoy this series. It of course is another series, so I will be giving the next book a try!!
