Wednesday's Craft Night

I had such a great time this past Wednesday crafting it up with my aunt and my mom. We decided to crochet because my aunt Paula is a walking crochet pattern encylopedia! It is amazing how much she knows and I learned so much. She showed us some new stitches:

and helped me with an afghan pattern. This is the afghan I am going to make for the family reunion auction this year.

I have been working on this afghan all weekend and I am in love with it. I was suprised at how easy it was too!

I also started working on a pattern for a cowl that I had fallen in love with in the December issue of Crochet Today.

My aunt learned how to crochet when she was 10 by my great grandma who just turned 99
a couple weeks ago. I love that we are going to start getting together twice a month to catch up anc crochet!!

Before I left my parents house I came across the hat and mittens that my brother use to wear when he was little! I miss him so much!! So Eric this picture is for YOU!!

This weekend was busy but alot of fun. Friday Poot and I had date night but stayed in! We made dinner and caught up on all our tv shows from the week. Saturday night we finally had our Christmas Party with my coworkers. I consumed way too much crab at the buffett that night but it was soooo good! Today I did a little shopping and then had some friends over for a Golden Globes watch party! I was very happy to see Sandra Bullock and Drew Barrymore win!!

I am really looking forward to the upcoming week. We are starting our gym regime up again and I have lots of fun projects to work on from Style School. I will post pictures as I finish them.

Hope your weekend was good!!
XOXO
Amber
