Two Poots Bedroom Makeover!!

This past weekend over my mini Spring Break Poot, Mark, and I remodeled our bedroom. I am in love!! It is has such a relaxing enviroment now. We actually started painting the room Friday afternoon and finished the walls and the ceiling that same day! We rocked! Here is a look at some before pictures:



Our ceiling had some scuffed up areas that Mark sanded down before I primed. Scott thought he would be nice and vacuum him off afterwards. You can see all the dust floating in the air. Gross!

I became delirious as the night went on and decided it would be a good idea to dump a cup of paint down my back! I ended up with paint on my bra, underwear, and in my armpit by the time it was all said and done! Ha!!

I ended up getting new bedding and window treatments for the room. I found the bedding at Target. It is their Dwell line and was exactly what I had been hoping to find!




I will post more pictures once I get things hung up on the walls. I am trying to really organize while I put things back, something that needed to be done along time ago.

Today Poot and I went on a little day date. We had lunch on The Plaza at Blanc and their burgers are out of this world!





After burgers we browsed at Anthropologie and did some thrifting!





Tomorrow it is back to the real world for me! I wish I could have just a few more days!! It always goes so fast!
