I was going to do the giveaway tonight for the granny squares but have decided to extend the deadline to tomorrow evening. I am being very lazy tonight! This means you have one more day to sign up!! Just post your comment on the giveaway post and I will draw a lucky winner tomorrow night. Poot is having a guys night out and I am just vegging on the couch. I am going to catch up on Tori and Dean, work on my giant granny square afghan (almost done!!), and read.
Also don't forget there are still a few pieces of clothing left that are not sold on the post below. If you are interested in any piece just send me an email or leave me a comment. Also I have several more things to sell...so I might post a few more things in the next week or so!
This weekend I finally hung up some pretties in our bedroom and tackled organizing my jewelry. I had most of my favorite pieces just thrown in an old makeup bag. I was like a kid in a candy store going through it all. There were so many pieces I had forgot about. Here is a look at our newly decorated bedroom:
These are hung on Poots side of the bed. They are all the little things I have made him since we started dating.
My side of the bed.
I hung some of my favorite instamax photos on some twine. (Sorry the pictures are so dark...we have had rain for way too many days, the sun came out for a few minutes, so I snapped these pictures very quickly!)
My jewelry wall! I put some of my favorite Amy Butler fabric in some embroidery hoops to display my earrings! I really like how it turned out and now I won't always wear the same pair of earrings everyday!
The wall of Two Poots! The Two Poots in Love was done by Janel and the other drawing was by our friend Keith. Both pieces are so special!
Now that our room is almost complete (there are a few small things I need to do)I don't want to leave it. It is so cozy and warm!
Well...I am off to relax on the couch for a couple of hours!
Hope you had a great Monday!
XOXO

Looove your jewelry! I've been planning on doing mine but haven't gotten around to it! Yours looks great!!! All my jewelry that I always wear is thrown on my dresser top in a ginormous MESS.
Love the little touches all over the bedroom! Very sweet!!! xo
I love the round mirror - it's amazing Amber! Is it old? Or new? because if it's new I want one -where did you get it?
What a clever idea to use embroidery hoops and fabric to hold earrings - plus it looks so pretty! I love the wall O Poot Love :)
I do the same thing with my necklaces and bracelets! And I had been planning on doing the exact same thing with my earrings! It looks awesome so now I must do it! I have a tendency to collect fabric even though I don't know how to sew. This is a good way to start using it!
What a great idea with the earring holder! I love it!!!!
Also, I'm with Becky - that mirror is hawwwwt!

SOOOO great!!! I love it!
Dear Becky Farley (Lady of the Harbor),
That mirror is part of a vanity that belonged to my late grandmother Virginia Pauline Schiller Kemper Cox Elmore. She was a saucy dame with multiple personalies who married four times in her life and left me with lots of cool furniture and happy memories of a quirky grandma... I'm glad you like it. I've seen several pieces like it in flea markets. Keep an eye out and you just might get lucky!
Signed,
Big Poot
Oops... I meant "personalities"... I'm not sure what a "personalie" is but it sounds like fun.
:) Dear Big Poot,
I love the story behind the mirror! Your grandmother had amazing taste! I will have to try my luck at the flea market.
Oh and thank you for the orange decorations on my swap package! They cracked me up!
Thanks for helping helping Amber!
I like the idea of pinning up photos on a clothesline. It's very hipster-type.
