A Single Serving Fruit Smoothie...

Lately I can't seem to get enough of these blueberry smoothies. I thought I would share the recipe with you because I promise you that they are delicious! The best part is that the recipe is for one serving, which makes it easy for a quick breakfst smoothie. I need quick because I tend to always wait until the last minute possible to get out of bed!

Okay so here is what you need:

1/4 cup of milk (I have been using So Delicious Coconut Milk, but any milk alternative would be good I am sure!)

1/4 cup of water

1/4 cup of yogurt (I am currently using Brown Cow Fat Free vanilla)

1/2 cup of frozen fruit (I am using blueberries because we have so many right now)

1 tbsp of quick oats (I use Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Oats)

Put all ingredients in a cup and blend together. I have been using the hand blender and it is so simple with not a lot of cleanup.

**The oatmeal is the key ingredient here I think. I have never had a smoothie with oatmeal before, but it makes it taste like a blueberry oat bar. YUM!!!

If you try any yummy fruit combos I would love to hear how they turn out! I literally made myself one of these every night for a snack last week.

Enjoy!
XOXO

That looks and sounds so good! I've never though about putting oats in a smoothie but I am definitely going to try it now!

I'll have to try this out with my new hand held blender. I have two bags of frozen blue berries in my freezer that Paula gave me if you need more.

OMG, that looks amazing! I am SO going to make this, and because I'm dairy-free, I'll use So Delicious coconut milk yogurt, too.
