Saturday we had lunch with my family and enjoyed the amazing Spring weather. My parents neighbors were wanting to get rid of their old record player cabinet, which is something I have been looking for on Craigslist for awhile!
It needs to be cleaned up a little. The fabric needs to be replace on the front and the record player kicks on but has a hard time turning. My dad is going to take it apart and hopefully get it working, because the radio sounds amazing!
We also celebrated my mother in laws birthday! I finally finished her afghan and will definitely have to make one for myself. I love the colors!
We went to a new winery that is one of the spookiest buildings I have seen. It was built in 1900 and in it's history has been an orphanage, nursing home, and hospital.
Today we went and saw a matinee play, cooked out, and picked up some "new" chairs for our living room. I am moving some thing around and getting rid of an old love seat. I found a set of these chairs on Craigslist and plan on placing them on each side of our new record cabinet!
I knew I had to have these chairs as soon as I saw them. They are the same fabric and color as a chair we currently have that use to be my parents. I love the style of these too!
I think I need just one for day to relax from all the running we did! How was your weekend?
XOXO
