Couch to 5K...

Today these feet will be lacing up some running shoes and hitting the pavement! I have been reading a lot about this program and am hoping that when it is all said and done I will:
**actually enjoy running
**be set in an exercise routine
**sign up for a 5k
**lose a few lbs

I have downloaded the app and have created a playlist to get me motivated!!! I am hoping that by posting this goal here for the public to see, it will hold me accountable! My plan is to check in here weekly to post my ups and downs!

So I have a couple of questions for you guys... Are you a runner?? If so any tips? And have any of you tried this program??? I would love to hear how it was for you!

Yeah for you!!!! I have the app and love it!! I got into week 2 and my sciatic nerve went crazy. I've been restarting again this week though. good luck to you!

YES!! LOVE IT!! I had never run more than 3 minutes in my life!! Then I started in October of 2010 with Couch to 5K~ Ran one within 3 weeks of starting the program~ Ran a half marathon 5 months later and this weekend I just ran RAGNAR~ IT WAS AWESOME! I ran just under 14 miles over my 3 legs ~ FEELS SO GREAT!! Be careful, running is addicting! Be sure to invest in some really good running shoes to save your feet and knees and back etc!! It is worth it!

Those don't look like running shoes Amber. Let me know how you like the app. Am I too old for this?
