Saturday evening while Poot did another performance we had craft night at my moms! I worked on my granny square purse all evening it seemed but we had a great time!
Mom taught Kerry how to crochet! She was so excited. My mom also hit the jackpot while visiting my 98 year old Great Grandma. My grandma use to receive patterns in the mail weekly and she still had all of them! We now have a huge box full of vintage apron and dress patterns! I can't wait to make one of them!!
My dad got this funny hat from a co-worker so we of course had to take some pictures!
Today we spent the afternoon at the Maple Leaf Festival!
They had a quilt show which housed some amazing detailed quilts. These were my favorites:
*The first quilt was made with suits and ties from the men in their family. I so want to do that quilt! What a great family heirloom!The last quilt was made using vintage hankies which I love!
Well...it was was a busy weekend. I am going to curl up with a cup of hot apple cider and watch a few episodes of Mad Men.
