How to entertain yourself on long road trips & Thankful Monday!!

Hello all! I hope everyone had a great Christmas. Ours was magical and very very white!! I can't believe how much snow we got! I haven't uploaded pictures from the weekend yet so I will be back tonight or tomorrow with a post about Two Poots Christmas! In the mean time I thought I would show you how we entertain ourselves while on long road trips. These pictures were taken while driving to and from Texas last weekend.
*Use clear hairties to create scary looks with your face or hair!*

*Bring some felt along to make moustaches!*

*Make frequent stops especially to take pictures of pretty lights!*

Today I am thankful for:
*clear roads
*lots of pretty snow
*christmas leftovers
*movies, movies, movies (We saw Precious and Up in the Air yesterday)
*time spent with friends and family
*our new WII
*all my amazing christmas gifts!
*old family photos
*my hubby who shoveled a LOT of snow yesterday to get my car out of our driveway
*that the hustle and bustle of Christmas is over and I can now relax a little!

What are you thankful for today? I would also love to hear about some of the things you like to do on long road trips to pass the time!!

XOXO
Amber

She wants to someday, but for now she just bakes for friends, family and the occasional side job. :) I'm hoping she maybe gets a wedding or two after doing our cakes!
PS-Your hubby would get along swimmingly with my fiance and his family. The family motto seems to be, "Everything is better with bacon" haha. His sister and brother-in-law are who we watch every Top Chef season with. :)
