This weekend went by so fast and now Monday is almost over! The countdown to Christmas is starting to freak me out a bit...but I am vowing to myself to remain calm!! Last Friday we hung out with this adorable family:
My friends Jen and Jerrod and their adorabale triplets(Sam,Grace, and Isabelle) and little Sophia! We are so blessed to have them in our lives. Those kids are such a joy to be around and Jen's cooking is out of this world!! She suprised the Two Poots with a signed copy of this:
Saturday Scott did another reading of the Christmas Carol at Riverwood Winery. Afterwards, we spent our evening with our dear friends Dawn and Patrick in Weston. We did a wine sampling at Pirtle Winery and had dinner at our favorite, Charlamagnes! Hands down they serve the best German food around.
Sunday I did not step one foot outside and decided that I should just stay in my pjs too. I got so much marked off my to do list and we were even able to winterize our house for the cooler weather heading our way!! Overall the weekend was fantastic.
Today I am thankful for:
*the smell of *snow* in the air (we are suppose to get our first big snow tonight!!)
*my health and the health of my family
*this cd
*and this one (my favorite since I was little)
*Orbits Watermelon Gum (I never tire of it)
*listening to celebrity gossip on my drive to work (I have been out of touch for a long time)
And....my adorable mom!
She is an amazing artist who has taught me so much over the years!! It is where I get my creativity. You can follow her on her blog here or shop her etsy shop!
These are some of my favorite recent paintings:
If you still have some handmade gifts to purchase these prints would be perfect! I have them scattered throughout Poot Manor.
How was your weekend? What are you thankful for today??
XOXO
