Thankful Tuesday...
I am so thankful that today I got to exercise my right to VOTE!!! No matter what you believe in...I hope you went out to cast your vote today!!
Okay...so today's Thankful Tuesday is from a dear friend of mine Meg. We met in high school and bonded over boy bands, shopping, baseball and tennis. We reconnected over the past few years and she is such a talented and crafty lady! She makes the most amazing cards. I will be hosting a giveaway next week with some of her work so stay tuned.
Here is a list of some things she is thankful for:
My family, especially the 2 I call Monsters, Dart and Audrey. Dart is such a sweet boy(he will kill me for saying that), who has my love for baseball. Audrey, oh how that girl tests my patience daily, usually multiple times daily. I love her spunk and confidence and hope she keeps it the rest of her life.
My brother, who my kids think hung the moon. His positive attitude while having to miss what he loves most in life, running, while waiting for answers from doctors, reminds me to always see the good in life. And he really is the best Uncle to Dart and Audrey they could ask for. I feel sorry for the girls he dates as Audrey has to approve them. I also feel for any boy Audrey ever tries to date, he's got big shoes to fill.
Crafting. I never was much of a crafter growing up, but now I can't imagine my life without it. I love making anything from cards, to blankets, to clothes for Audrey, to home decor. Part of me wishes I'd discovered my love when I was younger.
Pictures. My camera is never far from me and I LOVE downloading my pics after a round of taking and seeing what I captured. I love going back and looking at all my pictures and I even love editing my pictures. Now if I was just better at actually printing them.
The coming Holiday season. I love the Holiday's. Can't wait to start listening to Christmas music and watching all my favorite Christmas movies.
The men and women who serve our country. My best friends nephews are getting ready to leave for Afghanistan sometime in the next month and seeing them in their dress blues brought tears to my eyes. Listening to them talk to the kids was amazing. Thank you to all those who have served, are serving or will serve.
