Around Poot Manor...

They say things come in waves of three...and boy do I hope "they" are right. I have been busy this week with the news of 1. Needing a new roof 2. needing a new transmission in my Jetta and 3. a root canal!!

In order to not get too down I have been doing some of the following:

**Made gluten free ice cream cookie sandwiches!**

**Finished my Two Peas in Love afghan**

**Found a new home for some succulents. I also put my dad's old radio out on display. He use to hide this radio under his pillow when he was little so he could listen to baseball games.**

**Starting reading the Sookie Stackhouse books and I am hooked! I read the first one in 4 days, which is not like me**
**Got my hair cut. Poot kept sneaking in my pictures of my new haircut...so silly**

**Painted my nails a new pretty teal blue and of course topped it off with some glitter!**

What have you been up to this week? I so glad tomorrow is Friday and we get a long weekend!
XOXO
Amber

Cute hair! I hope things get better for you. :)
Also, LOVE the sookie stackhouse books. I re-read them all again last month. I'm finishing up Charlain Harris's "harper connelly" series now. It's not quite as good, but almost. If you ever need someone to discus (ie swwon over Eric Northman with, you know where to find me.

oh man, i'm sorry about all the bummer stuff--but it's nice that there's always little things to make the day better (like your cute haircut and pretty nails--and eric and bill ;) ).

Cheryl... I actually bought these cookies premade in the store. I bought a box of chocolate chip and a box of oatmeal.

There are actually some gluten free cookie mixes that are great, but the best gluten free cookie I have made is using Pamela's Gluten Free Pancake Mix. The recipe is on the back of the box! They are better than regular cookies! Let me know if you want me to email you that recipe. I would be happy too!
