A Recap of our Weekend and Day 2 of our Honeymoon!

This weekend was so busy and fun. We spent most of our time at the Metropolitian Ensemble Theatre where Scott was Pozzo in Waiting for Godot. I saw it three times and each time it just got better and better. I was so sad for it to end. I am going to miss this group. Most of them were Scott's students from last year when he taught at UCM in Warrensburg, MO. All them are so talented and have the biggest hearts. I wish the best for all of them. Here they are after Saturday nights performance:

I was a little nervous to watch Scott shave his beard off for this character but the look was perfect for Pozzo. I was so proud of him!!

Sunday was Scott's birthday! We decided that since time was limited we would celebrate both Saturday and Sunday morning! Saturday we got up and headed to the Plaza to see this adorable film:

After the movie we had a delicious lunch at PF Changs before heading home to rest a little before that nights performance.

Sunday we had a relaxing afternoon in Weston. After the last performance we headed home for Scott to open all his presents. I got him tickets to the Heart concert coming up at the Missouri State Fair, a new messenger bag for school, and of course some clothes. His favorite gift were the Jonas Brother tattoos! Right now he is working with a group of teenage girls so he comes home singing their songs every day! I could't pass them up when I found them in the clearance aisle at Target! Ha!

It was definatly a weekend to remember!

Now...back to recaping our honeymoon! Our first day in Texas was spent at the #1 Water Park in the US!!

It was a perfect way to keep cool under the very hot temps that had been hovering over the San Antonio area for weeks!! That day alone was 107 plus! This park was cool because several of the tube slides would end up shooting you out into the Comal River where you could just float along in your tube until you were ready to get out! We didn't want to leave!! Yet...we had to head on into downtown San Antonio. That evening we had a romantic dinner overlooking the Riverwalk. That area is stunning at night!

Well...just writing about our trip makes me ready to head out on another journey with Scott. We had such a great time! What are some of your favorite vacation memories? Favorite vacation destination?

Happy Monday!
XOXO
Amber
